QD360t 18m Overhead Crane for Power Plant in Ghana
The capacity 360/100T overhead crane in the main powerhouse of the Ghana Buwi Hydropower Station was successfully hoisted.
On the afternoon of January 29, the capacity 360/100T overhead crane in the main powerhouse of the Ghana Buwi Hydropower Station was successfully hoisted by a 70t truck crane and the M1000 tower crane. This 360t overhead crane is for the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment of the Buwi Hydropower Station.
Due to the sufficient preparations and proper construction organization for this hoisting, the main beam of the overhead crane was hoisted from 15:45 until the main beam was in place at 16:00, and the whole process only took 15 minutes. The QD360/100/2×10t-18m double trolley overhead crane installed this time is equipped with two 10t electric hoists, which are mainly used for the installation, unloading and overhaul of the three vertical-axis Francis turbine generator sets and other auxiliary equipment in the Buwi Power Station.
