2. Customer Source & Inquiry Background

The customer found us through Google search and local Thai crane agent recommendation.

The factory had old Chinese single-girder overhead cranes running for many years. The original standard hoists had high failure rates, loud noise and high maintenance costs. The customer’s core demand was only replacing the hoist trolley without changing the original crane steel structure to save renovation budget.

The customer compared local Thai brands, Vietnamese products, ordinary Chinese hoists and European standard hoists. The price of local Thai European hoists was 55% higher than our quotation. Finally, the customer chose our FEM standard European hoist due to stable quality and better moisture-proof performance suitable for Thailand’s tropical humid climate.

3. Business Negotiation & Quotation Process

1. The customer provided original crane beam drawings and track size data. Our engineering team checked and confirmed the installation dimensions within 3 days, issued a professional modification solution and officially offered the English PI.

2. The customer questioned lower-price competitors. We provided real installation photos, operation videos and local Thailand project references to prove our after-sales and delivery capability.

3. We did not reduce the price, but increased added value: free English operation & maintenance manual, free spare parts package and lifelong online technical support.

4. After 10 days of communication via Email and WhatsApp, the customer confirmed all technical details and signed the formal export contract.


4. Risk Control

1. Payment: 100% TT paid within 3 working days after receiving B/L copy.

2. Lead time: 32 days production after deposit, 5 days for container booking and loading.

3. Certification: CE certificate, 1.25 times full load test report, insulation test report, meeting Thailand industrial equipment import standards.

4. Warranty: 18 months for whole machine, 24 months for core components (motor, reducer, inverter).

5. Responsibility: Destination port customs clearance, tariff, inland transportation and unloading are all undertaken by the buyer.

6. Packaging: All wooden cases adopt IPPC heat treatment to avoid Thailand quarantine inspection risk.

5. Production, Quality Inspection & Export Packaging

1. Production Standard: Strictly follow FEM M5 working grade. The whole machine adopts special anti-rust and moisture-proof coating to adapt to Thailand rainy and humid environment.

2. Factory Inspection:

  • 8-hour continuous no-load running test

  • 1.25 times rated load dynamic loading test

  • Whole machine insulation and waterproof performance test

  • VFD system simulation test under Thai standard voltage

3. Export Packaging Details:

  • Hoist body coated with anti-rust oil, wrapped with waterproof film and bubble film

  • IPPC heat-treated wooden boxes with standard IPPC marks

  • Remote controller, cables, bolts and documents are packed separately with moisture-proof protection

  • Outer box marked with English & Thai shipping mark, MADE IN CHINA, GW/NW and dimension


6. Shipping, Customs Declaration & Document Process

Customs Documents: Export contract, commercial invoice, packing list, CE certificate, load test report, IPPC certificate, FORM E certificate

Key Advantage: We applied for FORM E Certificate of Origin. Under China-Thailand Free Trade Agreement, the customer enjoyed preferential tariff reduction for import customs clearance.

The goods were declared and released smoothly without customs inspection. The carrier issued the original B/L after vessel departure.
